What you get
Dates and amounts arrive as typed cells, not text, so SUM, filters and pivot tables work straight away. No Text to Columns, no stray currency symbols to strip out.
A second sheet records the bank, account, statement period, totals in and out, and the opening and closing balances, so the workbook explains itself.
The header row stays put while you scroll, and any row the parser was less sure of stays highlighted in the workbook, not just on screen.
Switch with one click before you download: two positive Debit and Credit columns, which is what accounting imports expect, or a single Amount column where money out is negative.
Accuracy you can audit
Every conversion is reconciled: opening balance plus every extracted transaction must equal the closing balance on the statement. If it does not, we say so, and by how much — instead of handing you a tidy spreadsheet with a missing row.
Each transaction carries an extraction confidence score. Anything under 90% is flagged in the table so your review takes thirty seconds instead of a full re-read of the PDF.
Every cell is editable and any row can be deleted, right in the results table. Your download is generated from the rows you see, so corrections never have to happen twice.
Questions
No. The conversion runs inside this browser tab — the parser is compiled to WebAssembly and loaded into the page. Your statement is never sent to a server, and closing the tab is the end of it.
Yes, on Pay As You Go and Pro: up to 20 statements in one go. Download them as one combined file, with Source and Account columns so every row can be traced to its statement, or as separate files in a ZIP.
You will be told. Every conversion is checked against the opening and closing balances printed on the statement, and the gap is shown if there is one. Rows extracted with low confidence are flagged, and every cell can be corrected before you download.
Not yet. The parser reads the text inside a PDF, and a scan is only a picture of text. Statements downloaded from online banking almost always have that text layer and convert normally.
