What you get

Why convert before QuickBooks sees it

Know nothing is missing

QuickBooks Online can read a PDF statement itself now. Converting here first adds a check: every transaction is reconciled against the statement’s opening and closing balances, so a missing or misread row shows up before it reaches your books.

Fix it before it is in the ledger

Every cell is editable and any row can be deleted before you download. The file you upload is exactly the rows you reviewed.

OFX, so there is nothing to map

QuickBooks Online’s Upload from file accepts OFX. It carries dates, amounts and descriptions in a fixed structure, so there are no columns to map and no date format to get wrong.

Your statement stays on your computer

The conversion runs in this browser tab. The PDF is never sent to us, and only the file you choose to upload ever reaches QuickBooks.

Import it into QuickBooks Online

  1. 1 Drop your PDF statement into the converter above and check the balance check result.
  2. 2 Choose OFX and download the file.
  3. 3 In QuickBooks Online, open Bank transactions, select the Link account dropdown, then Upload from file.
  4. 4 Select the .ofx file, choose the account it belongs to, and review the transactions QuickBooks lists.

Prefer CSV? Choose the Signed amount layout and turn off the Balance column, so the file has the three columns QuickBooks expects: Date, Description and Amount. Dates are written year-month-day (2024-01-31); if QuickBooks asks for the date format, choose that one. QuickBooks takes up to 1,000 transactions per upload, so convert very long statements a month at a time.

Accuracy you can audit

A converter that shows its work

It tells you when it is wrong

Every conversion is reconciled: opening balance plus every extracted transaction must equal the closing balance on the statement. If it does not, we say so, and by how much — instead of handing you a tidy spreadsheet with a missing row.

Confidence, row by row

Each transaction carries an extraction confidence score. Anything under 90% is flagged in the table so your review takes thirty seconds instead of a full re-read of the PDF.

Fix it here, not in Excel

Every cell is editable and any row can be deleted, right in the results table. Your download is generated from the rows you see, so corrections never have to happen twice.

Questions

Before you convert

Why convert first instead of importing the PDF straight in?

You see every transaction before it reaches your books, with a check that they add up to the statement’s own opening and closing balances, and you can correct anything first. The statement is converted in your browser, so it never leaves your computer.

Does it work with QuickBooks Desktop?

The OFX and CSV files are for QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks Desktop imports bank files in Intuit’s own Web Connect (.QBO) format, which this tool does not produce.

What if the numbers do not add up?

You will be told. Every conversion is checked against the opening and closing balances printed on the statement, and the gap is shown if there is one. Rows extracted with low confidence are flagged, and every cell can be corrected before you download.

Is my statement uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs inside this browser tab — the parser is compiled to WebAssembly and loaded into the page. Your statement is never sent to a server, and closing the tab is the end of it.

How much does it cost?

You can try it free, with no account. After that it is pay as you go per page, with credits that never expire, or a monthly plan for regular volume. The pricing page has the details.
